The followup to in violet's 2013 debut 'opal', 'amber' is a deeply personal record, drawing inspiration from a strange mix of mythology and self-reflection.

Released by Bottle Imp Productions in 2016, these ten songs are darker and more electronically-driven then in violet's previous efforts, with recurrent musical and lyrical themes threading throughout the 60-minute journey. Sonic manipulation and distortion damage then redefine familiar sounds, warping perception into something more surreal. 'amber' is best played in its entirety in one sitting.
